Having spent his entire working life in provincial journalism,
Keith Newbery began as a junior reporter on the now defunct
Isle of Wight Times in his hometown of Ryde.
He has subsequently been the founder-editor of the IW Weekly
Post, associate editor of The News in Portsmouth and executive
editor of the Observer series of newspapers based in Chichester.
'Hacking It' chronicles Keith's career in provincial newspapers,
and is packed full of amusing and interesting anecdotes from
his time spent as a local newspaper journalist.
